I visited El Tio based on my boyfriend's recommendation, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The vibrant décor was eye-catching, and the lively ambiance, paired with upbeat music, made for a welcoming atmosphere.
We started with the complimentary chips, which were so delicious that I even asked for extra to take home. For our appetizer, we ordered the Platanos Fritos, served with a side of creamy sour cream--a perfect balance of sweetness and richness.
For the main course, my partner had the beef enchiladas, which were flavorful and well-prepared. I opted for the sizzling chicken fajitas, which came with fresh tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, beans, rice, and pico de gallo. The portions were incredibly generous, and I ended up taking leftovers home--making for the perfect lunch the next day.
One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a bit difficult to find on weekends, so plan accordingly.
This was my first time dining here, but it certainly won't be my last!
